Top 5 Education Apps on Android in Estonia Q3 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, the top five education apps on the Android platform in Estonia demonstrated varying trends in downloads, revenue, and user engagement. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

Duolingo: Language Lessons saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, starting from around $454 in late June and peaking at approximately $681 by the end of September. Weekly downloads also showed a significant upward trend, rising from 167 in the last week of June to 506 in the last week of September.

eKool experienced a dramatic surge in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue jumped from about $140 at the beginning of the quarter to over $1.1K by the end of September. Similarly, downloads increased exponentially from 25 in late June to 788 by the end of the quarter.

Speakly: Learn Languages Fast had fluctuating weekly revenue, with peaks at $648 and $670 in early August and late August respectively. Downloads started at 27 in late June, reaching a high of 141 in early August before stabilizing around 46 by the end of September.

Lingvist: Learn Languages Fast showed a relatively steady performance in weekly revenue, hovering around $269 in late June and maintaining similar levels throughout the quarter. Downloads were modest, starting at 11 in late June and managing to reach 46 by mid-September.

EWA: Learn English & Spanish had consistent weekly revenue, starting at $128 in late June and closing the quarter at around $137. Downloads peaked at 257 in early August but settled down to 51 by the end of September.
