Top 5 Auto Apps on Android in the US for Q3 2021

The third quarter of 2021 saw notable performances from the top auto apps on the Android platform in the United States. Here’s a closer look at the trends in weekly downloads and active users for these leading applications.

GasBuddy: Find & Pay for Gas experienced a peak in weekly downloads, reaching approximately 46.8K in the week of August 30. However, the app saw a general decline in active users from around 500K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 389K by the end of September.

Cars.com – New & Used Vehicles maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads ranging from 14.9K to 17.7K. Weekly active users showed minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with about 196K.

CarGurus: Used & New Cars saw an upward trend in downloads, peaking at roughly 17.9K in the last week of September. Active users consistently increased over the quarter, starting at about 97K and reaching roughly 115K by the end of Q3.

BPme: BP & Amoco Gas Rewards had a varied download pattern, with a high of approximately 19.5K in late July. Active users saw a slight decline from around 31K to 27K over the quarter.

Finally, CARFAX - Shop New & Used Cars exhibited growth in downloads, peaking at about 18.2K in the final week of September. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from around 37K to roughly 43K throughout the quarter.
