In the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 utilities applications in Ireland displayed varied performance metrics in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends observed for each app.

Google Chrome showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 4K in mid-April and maintaining an average of around 2.7K to 3.9K throughout the quarter. Active users remained stable, hovering around 1.8M, with minor fluctuations.

Google experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads, starting at 3.3K in late March and decreasing to about 2.3K by the end of June. Active user numbers were relatively steady, averaging around 1.2M, with a small dip to 1.19M in late June.

National Lottery - Lottery.ie had a notable peak in downloads at 3.7K in mid-April, but the numbers generally ranged between 2.1K and 2.8K for the rest of the quarter. Active users showed a slight downward trend from 42.1K to 38.2K.
