During the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 utilities applications in Australia showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers insights into how these apps fared on a unified platform, encompassing both iOS and Android.

Service Victoria experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 140.7K in the week of June 7. This growth was mirrored in its active user base, which rose from 374.2K at the end of March to around 1.2M by the end of June.

Service NSW saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, reaching a low of 49.1K in mid-June, before climbing to 70.4K by the end of the month. Active users also showed a positive trend, growing from 862.2K at the end of March to over 1M by June 21.

Google Chrome maintained a relatively steady download rate, with minor peaks and valleys, and weekly downloads ranging between 22.5K and 27.5K. The app's active user base remained stable, hovering around 7.8M throughout the quarter.
