In the second quarter of 2021, the top travel applications in Greece displayed diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the performance of these leading apps.
Beat Passenger: Find your ride saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 6.3K in the final week of June. Weekly active users showed a gradual rise, from approximately 20.2K at the end of March to about 22.8K by the end of June.
Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a significant rise in weekly downloads, starting at 1.8K at the end of March and reaching around 9.5K by the end of June. The app’s weekly active users also increased, starting at approximately 94.1K and peaking at around 121K in the last week of June.
Airbnb had a notable growth in weekly downloads, which rose from 2K at the end of March to about 5.2K by the end of June. The weekly active users followed a similar upward trend, increasing from around 43.1K to approximately 53.9K over the same period.
Google Earth showed a decline in weekly downloads, starting at 4.6K at the end of March and dipping to about 3.2K by mid-June, before slightly recovering to 4.4K by the end of June. The weekly active users also showed a slight decline, from around 31.9K to approximately 30.5K over the quarter.
OASA experienced an increase in weekly downloads, starting at 674 at the end of March and reaching about 1.2K by the end of June. The weekly active users also showed an upward trend, from approximately 2.9K to around 3.9K during the same period.
