Top 5 Navigation Apps Performance in Estonia Q2 2021

In the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 navigation apps in Estonia showcased varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active user trends. Below, we provide insights into the performance of these apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps saw a consistent rise in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at 582 downloads in the last week of March, it gradually increased to 1.17K by the end of June. Notably, the app experienced a significant upward trend in June, reaching 1.16K downloads in the last week.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic also exhibited a steady increase in downloads. Beginning with 738 downloads at the end of March, it peaked at 1.63K downloads in the third week of June before slightly dropping to 1.54K in the final week.

The Bolt Driver App experienced fluctuating weekly downloads. The most notable spike occurred in the first week of May with 652 downloads, followed by a decrease and stabilization around 300 downloads per week towards the end of the quarter.

Neste had an interesting pattern in its download trends. After a peak in late April with 1.1K downloads, there was a sharp decline to 153 downloads in the first week of June. However, it rebounded to 535 downloads in the third week of June before dropping again to 302 by the end of the month.

Moovit: All Transit Options showed a steady and gradual increase in downloads over the quarter. Starting with 181 downloads at the end of March, it reached 399 downloads in the third week of June, and slightly decreased to 381 downloads in the last week.
