MOBA Apps Performance in Belarus: Q2 2021 Review

During the second quarter of 2021, the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) app market in Belarus displayed intriguing dynamics. Here, we take a closer look at the performance of the top five MOBA apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Brawl Stars from Supercell saw a notable peak in weekly revenue, reaching around $50K in mid-April. The app's weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight increase mid-June, topping at approximately 14.6K. Weekly active users showed a fluctuating pattern but maintained a strong presence with figures ranging from about 509K to 575K throughout the quarter.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Shanghai Moonton Technology Co., Ltd. experienced a rise in weekly revenue, peaking at $17.6K at the end of May. Downloads were relatively steady, with a minor increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 3K. Active users showed a consistent trend, fluctuating between 65K and 74K during the period.

League of Legends: Wild Rift, published by Riot Games, showed modest weekly revenue, peaking at nearly $2K in early April. Downloads exhibited a gradual increase, especially in late June, with numbers rising to about 2K. The active user base was stable, with figures hovering around 9K throughout the quarter.

Heroes Evolved by NetDragon Websoft Inc recorded a peak weekly revenue of just under $240 in mid-May. Downloads were consistently low, with a slight increase to 58 in late June. Active users remained steady, ranging from 300 to 350 over the quarter.

Finally, Tanks a Lot - War of Machines from Highcore Labs LLC showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at over 5K in late June. Revenue rose to a high of $204 in early June. The weekly active users saw an impressive rise, reaching nearly 14.8K in mid-June.
