During the second quarter of 2021, the top five travel applications on the iOS platform in Chile exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 6.4K in late May before slightly declining to 5.8K by the end of June. Active users saw a steady rise from approximately 173K at the start of the quarter to nearly 208K by the end.

DiDi Rider: Affordable rides showed a moderate growth in weekly downloads, starting at 3.1K in late March and reaching 4.1K by the end of June. Active users displayed an upward trend, growing from 211K to 240K over the quarter.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a consistent increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 2.2K in late March and reaching approximately 3.1K by the end of June. Active users also saw a gradual rise, from around 19K to 22K throughout the period.

Cabify witnessed a steady climb in weekly downloads, starting at 1.4K in late March and peaking at 2.7K in mid-May. The number of active users showed slight fluctuations but generally increased from 29K to 32K by the end of June.

Beat Passenger: Find your ride also demonstrated growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 1.4K in late March and reaching 2.3K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated but ultimately grew from 46K to 47K over the quarter.
