In the second quarter of 2021, the top shopping applications on iOS in Nigeria showcased varying performance trends. Below, we explore how each of these apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users, according to Sensor Tower data.

Jumia Online Shopping saw a fluctuating yet generally stable trend in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with around 4.8K downloads and peaking at 5.5K in mid-June. The app's weekly active users showed a significant increase, starting at 43.4K and rising to 62.2K by mid-June before slightly dropping to 58K at the end of the quarter.

Wish: Shop and Save experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from nearly 2.8K at the beginning of April and decreasing steadily to around 1.4K by the end of June. Active users for the app also followed a downward trend, peaking at 18.5K in early May and decreasing to approximately 10.9K by the end of the quarter.

AliExpress - Shopping App maintained a relatively stable performance in weekly downloads, beginning with 1.6K and ending with 1.7K by late June. The active user count for AliExpress fluctuated slightly but remained fairly consistent, starting at about 19.5K and ending at 17.1K.

Alibaba.com exhibited a similar stable trend in weekly downloads, starting at 834 and slightly increasing to 911 by the end of the quarter. The app's active user base showed a modest increase from 19K to 21.1K over the same period.

Amazon Shopping had a consistent download rate, beginning at 824 and ending at 769 weekly downloads. The number of active users showed minor fluctuations, starting at 42.4K and ending at the same figure by the end of June.
