In the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 shopping apps on the iOS platform in Brazil exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides an in-depth look at these applications' performance.

Shopee Brasil - Frete Zero saw a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 253K in the week of April 12. Downloads later dipped to around 176K by the end of June. Weekly active users for the app increased steadily from about 1.6M at the end of March to over 2M by the end of June.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, with a high of around 193K in early April and a low of 92K in mid-June. The app's active users showed a slight decline at the beginning of the quarter but recovered towards the end, reaching approximately 1.1M by the end of June.

Mercado Libre: Compras Online had stable weekly downloads, averaging around 70K to 90K throughout the quarter. Active users saw a gradual increase, starting at 2.7M at the end of March and rising to nearly 2.9M by the end of June.

AliExpress - Shopping App showed a significant drop in weekly downloads from approximately 135K in late March to around 37K by the end of June. Despite this, the app's active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around the 1.2M mark throughout the quarter.

Americanas: Compras Online had a notable decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 102K in late March and dropping to about 41K by the end of June. Active users also saw a decrease, from approximately 1.5M at the end of March to around 1.2M by the end of June.
