During the second quarter of 2021, the top five shopping apps on iOS in Australia demonstrated varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their metrics.

Shop: All your favorite brands saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 14.8K at the end of March and peaking at approximately 19.7K by the end of June. Active users fluctuated, starting at about 134K and reaching a high of roughly 152K in mid-April, before settling at 141K by the end of the quarter.

SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 14.6K and rising to nearly 19.4K by the quarter's end. The app also saw a significant increase in active users, growing from approximately 233K in late March to about 274K by the end of June.

eBay online shopping & selling maintained a stable performance in terms of weekly downloads, starting at around 13.3K and ending at about 14.9K. Active users showed a slight fluctuation, beginning at 1.20M and peaking at approximately 1.26M in mid-April, before ending at 1.25M by the quarter's conclusion.

Amazon Shopping had a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 11.8K and reaching a peak of approximately 17.1K in early April, before ending at about 13.5K. Active users saw a steady rise, starting at 500K and peaking at 629K in late June.

Everyday Rewards exhibited significant growth in weekly downloads, beginning at 7K and reaching a high of approximately 15.5K by mid-June, before settling at around 10.1K. Active users saw an increase from 181K at the end of March to a peak of 214K in mid-May, before ending at approximately 192K.
