Top 5 iOS Navigation Apps in Peru: Q2 2021 Performance

During the second quarter of 2021, the performance of the top five navigation apps on iOS in Peru varied significantly. Here’s a breakdown of their weekly downloads and active user trends, based on Sensor Tower data.

Google Maps maintained its dominance in Peru with robust weekly active users averaging around 490K. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 6.6K in early April and stabilizing around 3.6K by the end of June.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw a consistent performance with weekly downloads hovering between 1.5K and 2K. Active users remained steady, averaging approximately 180K throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to 189K by the end of June.

Moovit: All Transit Options experienced modest download numbers, starting at 257 in late March and gradually increasing to 423 by the end of June. Weekly active users showed stability, averaging around 7.4K.

Find my Phone - Family Locator had lower download numbers, starting at 345 in late March and dropping to 157 by the end of June. However, the app saw a positive trend in weekly revenue, peaking at $233 in the final week of June. Active users averaged around 276 by the end of the quarter.

Geocaching® showed a declining trend in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads started at 266 in late March but dropped significantly to 19 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 343 to 225 over the quarter.
