During the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 insurance apps on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom demonstrated varying performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Hastings Direct Insurance experienced a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads. Starting with approximately 5.7K downloads in early April, the app saw a peak of 11.5K in the first week of May, before stabilizing around 8.7K by the end of June. Active users showed a steady increase, from around 18.5K in late March to 22.7K by the end of the quarter.

Admiral Insurance had a steady stream of weekly downloads, starting at about 4.2K at the beginning of April and reaching around 5.2K by the end of June. The app’s active user base also grew consistently, from approximately 11.4K in late March to 14.5K by the end of the quarter.

Cuvva showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, beginning at around 4.5K in late March and peaking at approximately 6.7K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at about 10.7K and rising to 13.3K over the same period.

MyAviva saw a moderate performance in weekly downloads, starting at around 2.9K in early April and maintaining a range between 2.5K and 4K throughout the quarter. The active user count remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 7.2K and 9K over the three months.

Zego Delivery had a varied download trend, with weekly downloads ranging from approximately 2K to 3.8K. Active users remained relatively steady, starting at around 18.4K in late March and ending the quarter at about 19.5K.
