During the second quarter of 2021, the finance app landscape in Italy saw noteworthy trends in downloads and active users. Here’s an overview of the performance of the top 5 finance apps on the iOS platform, based on data from Sensor Tower.

PosteID experienced a fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting strong with approximately 131K downloads at the end of March and dipping to around 35K by mid-June before climbing back up to about 56K by the end of June. Weekly active users for the app remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 436K and 534K throughout the quarter.

Poste Italiane saw a more consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting at roughly 47K and settling around 21K to 29K by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users showed slight variations, peaking at around 110K in mid-April and stabilizing around 78K to 87K in June.
