Top 5 iOS Finance Apps in Brazil: Q2 2021 Performance

In Q2 2021, the top five finance apps on iOS in Brazil demonstrated diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared during this period, according to Sensor Tower data.

Nubank: Conta, Cartão e mais showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 120K in mid-April. The app maintained robust weekly active user counts, starting at 4.4M in late March and reaching over 5M by the end of June.

PicPay: Conta, Cartão e Pix experienced fluctuating weekly downloads, with a high of 131K in early April and a low of 56K in mid-June. Weekly active users saw growth, rising from 1.6M to 1.8M during the quarter.

CAIXA had fairly stable download numbers, averaging around 52K weekly. Active users saw a slight decline, starting at 1.5M in late March and ending at 1.4M in late June.

CAIXA Tem showed a downward trend in downloads, dropping from 89K in early April to around 40K by the end of June. Active users peaked at 1.7M in late March but fell to approximately 1.1M by the end of the quarter.

Banco PAN saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, from 42K in late March to nearly 60K by the end of June. Active users also rose, growing from 378K to 427K over the same period.
