Top 5 Lifestyle Apps on Android in Mexico Q2 2021

The second quarter of 2021 saw notable trends in the performance of the top 5 lifestyle applications on the Android platform in Mexico. Here’s a closer look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active user metrics.

Pinterest maintained a consistent download rate throughout Q2 2021. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, peaking at approximately 138K in the week of May 10 and settling around 114K by the end of June. Active users showed a steady increase, starting from 6.9M at the beginning of April and reaching around 7.3M by the end of June.

Cash’em All: Play & Win saw a significant rise in weekly downloads, especially notable from mid-May onwards. Starting with 16K downloads at the end of March, it surged to around 87K by the end of June. Active users mirrored this growth, increasing from 32K at the end of March to approximately 177K by late June.

Amazon Alexa also experienced a substantial increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads rose from around 22K at the end of March to a peak of 60K in late June. Similarly, active users grew from nearly 286K to approximately 385K over the same period.

Google Home showed a stable performance in weekly downloads, ranging between 32K and 42K throughout the quarter. Active users saw minor fluctuations but remained relatively steady, starting at 372K at the end of March and ending at around 359K by late June.

Joy App by PepsiCo exhibited a rapid increase in weekly downloads from the end of April, starting at 1.3K and reaching up to 59K by early June before settling at around 31K in late June. Active users also increased sharply, from 505 in late April to about 67K in early June, before a slight decline to around 47K by the end of the quarter.
