In the first quarter of 2021, the music and rhythm category saw varied performance among the top applications in Australia. Here’s a look at how some of the leading apps fared, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game started the quarter with downloads at around 26K, peaking at 18K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a decreasing trend from 160K in late December to 111K in late March.

Sweet Dance experienced a significant increase in downloads from 313 in the last week of December to over 2K in the last week of March. Weekly active users more than doubled, from 1.4K to 3.5K in the same period.

For Drum Pad Machine - Beat Maker, downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 6K and rising to 4.4K by the quarter's end. The weekly active users saw a slight increase from 23.5K to 18.7K.

Tiles Hop: EDM Rush! downloads decreased from 24K at the start of the quarter to 12K towards the end. The active user base started at 148K and had a slight decrease, rounding out at 127K in the final week of March.
