The first quarter of 2021 has seen varying performances among the top auto applications in Latin America. Sensor Tower's comprehensive data offers insights into the trends of these popular apps on the unified platform.
Android Auto, a key player from Google LLC, experienced a decrease in downloads from 26K in the last week of December 2020 to 18K by the end of March 2021. The app's weekly active users, however, presented a more positive trend, rising from 2.5M to 2.6M in the same period.
Similarly, Android Auto for phone screens, also by Google LLC, followed a downward trend in downloads starting at 16K and dipping to 14K, with a slight peak at the end of March reaching 20K. The weekly active users showed gradual growth, starting at approximately 4K and increasing to 5K over the quarter.
