In the first quarter of 2021, Latin America's auto application market saw varied performance among the top players. Data from Sensor Tower showcases how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Carista OBD2 experienced a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at around 2.9M in the first week of February before declining to just over 1K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at approximately 1.4M and ending the quarter with just above 1K.

Carly — OBD2 car scanner showed a more stable revenue trend, hovering between $563 and $1K. Downloads for Carly began at 509K and saw a decrease throughout the quarter, ending at 237K. Active users also saw a downward trend from 395K to 314K.

BimmerCode for BMW and MINI demonstrated a revenue peak in mid-March at $820 and ended the quarter at $563. Downloads started at 355K, saw a dip, and ended the quarter slightly lower at 193K. Weekly active users ranged from 84K to 116K.

EOBD Facile: OBD 2 Car Scanner saw its highest revenue in the last week of March at $615, with downloads beginning at 4.5M and ending at 2.6M. Active users for EOBD Facile started strong at 7.7M and concluded the quarter at 7M.

Lastly, Car Scanner ELM OBD2 maintained a relatively consistent revenue, ranging from $345 to $636. Its downloads were impressive, starting at 11.2M and slightly decreasing to 8.3M by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, starting at 17.9M and tapering to 16.4M.
