Insights into the iOS Utilities Category in the UK for Q1 2021

The first quarter of 2021 has seen varying trends for the top utilities apps on the iOS platform in the United Kingdom. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a look into how these apps have performed in terms of downloads, weekly active users, and revenue.

Google Chrome started off the quarter with approximately 92K downloads in the first week of January, witnessing a peak before a gradual decline to around 49K by the end of March. The weekly active users remained relatively stable, beginning at 3M and having a slight increase to 3.04M in the third week of March before settling back to 3M.

Google also experienced a decline in downloads from about 86K to 51K over the quarter. However, its weekly active users showed a steady increase, starting at 2.73M and growing to approximately 2.84M by the end of March.

The Bee Network:Phone-based Asset exhibited an explosive growth in downloads in mid-January with 180K, followed by a sharp decline to 3.4K by the beginning of March. Weekly active users peaked at around 250K in late January and saw a decrease to 149K by the end of March.

Fonts showed a consistent revenue trend with a notable spike to $8.8K in the last week of February. Downloads for Fonts declined from 27K to 16K, and weekly active users decreased from 112K to 90K over the course of the quarter.

Lastly, Sticker Now - Emoji & Memes had a fluctuating revenue pattern with the highest at $18.5K in the first week of February, and downloads peaked at around 41K in the last week of January. Weekly active users for this app reached a high of 75K in the last week of January but dropped to 74K by the end of March.
