With the first quarter of 2021 wrapped up, we turn our attention to the performance of the top Utilities applications on the iOS platform in Australia. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers us a glimpse into the download trends and weekly active users for these essential tools.

Service NSW started the quarter with around 76K downloads and maintained a relatively stable download trend, closing March with approximately 60K. The app's weekly active users saw a consistent trend, starting at nearly 400K and peaking at around 522K before ending the quarter with a slight dip at about 506K.

Google Chrome, a popular browser app, saw its downloads begin at approximately 26K and end the quarter at around 25K, indicating a slight decline. Weekly active users remained robust, starting at around 878K and ending the quarter at approximately 885K, demonstrating a stable user base.

Google experienced a downward trend in downloads, beginning the quarter with around 24K downloads and ending with nearly 19K. Despite the decline in downloads, the app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at about 156K and closing the quarter with around 161K.

Service Victoria showed an interesting pattern in downloads, starting the quarter with around 24K, reaching a peak of about 37K in early January, and concluding with roughly 33K. The app's weekly active users saw a steady increase from nearly 50K to over 170K, marking a significant growth in engagement.

Lastly, My Telstra had a starting download figure of approximately 15K and saw a modest fluctuation throughout the quarter, ending with around 13K. The weekly active users for the app started at about 110K, peaked at roughly 113K mid-quarter, and saw a slight decline to around 105K by the end of March.
