Performance of Top MOBA Applications on iOS in Europe: Q1 2021 Insights

The first quarter of 2021 has been eventful for the top Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games on the iOS platform in Europe. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look at how these games have performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Brawl Stars by Supercell showed impressive revenue, peaking at $2.5M in early February and ending the quarter with a strong $1.6M in the last week of March. Downloads remained stable, hovering around 170K to 190K, while weekly active users saw a peak of 4.9M in mid-March.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang from Shanghai Moonton Technology experienced its highest revenue at the start of February with $324K. The game maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers ranging from around 27K to 40K. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly, with a peak of 391K at the end of December.

Riot Games' League of Legends: Wild Rift saw a peak in revenue of $185K in the last week of March. The game's downloads showed a decline from 213K in late December to around 51K by the end of March. Active users also saw a downward trend from 857K to 539K in the same period.

Arena of Valor, published by Level Infinite, had its revenue peak at nearly $26K in early February. The game's downloads and weekly active users both exhibited a slight decline, with downloads staying close to 2K and active users around 11.5K to 14.5K.

Lastly, Tanks a Lot - War of Machines from Highcore Labs LLC had a modest revenue, peaking at $5K in early February. The game's downloads peaked at 5.1K in early March, while weekly active users saw a significant spike to 13.3K during the same period.
