The first quarter of 2021 has seen dynamic performance among the top lifestyle applications on the iOS platform in Europe. Data provided by Sensor Tower highlights the trends in downloads and weekly active users for these leading apps.

Starting with Pinterest, the app experienced a slight decrease in downloads, starting at 400 thousand in the last week of December and ending at around 300 thousand by the end of March. Even though the downloads showed a downward trend, the weekly active users increased from 54 million to 58 million during the quarter.

Tinder: Dating, Chat & Friends maintained a consistent download range around 170 thousand to 180 thousand in the early weeks of January, with a slight decline to 150 thousand by March. The app's revenue started at 4 million in the last week of December, experienced a dip in February, and then rose again to 4 million by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase from 55 million to 57 million throughout the quarter.

Live Wallpapers & Ringtones showed a notable decline in downloads, with numbers falling from 200 thousand in late December to around 80 thousand by the end of March. Revenue displayed a fluctuating trend, starting at 60 thousand, dipping in mid-February to around 50 thousand, then spiking to 60 thousand in the last week of March. Weekly active users saw a decrease from 250 thousand to around 150 thousand in the same period.

Google Home also experienced a decrease in downloads, from 190 thousand in December to 85 thousand by the end of March. Its weekly active users saw a downward trend as well, starting at 1.2 million and ending at around 900 thousand.

Lastly, Amazon Alexa saw a sharp decline in downloads from 200 thousand in December to around 80 thousand by March. The weekly active users decreased from 2.5 million in December to around 2.1 million at the end of the quarter.
