Top 5 iOS Insurance Apps in France Q1 2021: A Sensor Tower Analysis

In the first quarter of 2021, the insurance app sector on the iOS platform in France has shown varying user engagement trends, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a glance at how the top five insurance apps fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Harmonie & moi, published by Harmonie Mutuelle, saw its downloads peak in the first week of January with approximately 3.7K, before experiencing a gradual decline to around 2.3K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users started strong at around 21K in early January, reaching their zenith mid-quarter at over 22K, and then slightly receded to roughly 20K towards the end of March.

MACIF maintained a relatively stable download count throughout the quarter, with a slight uptick in early March to just over 3K. However, weekly active users experienced a modest decrease from around 19K at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 17.8K by the end of March.

e-CPS, by AGENCE DU NUMERIQUE EN SANTE, had a notable surge in downloads in the second week of January, reaching nearly 5.8K, but then saw a downward trend, ending the quarter with around 2.5K downloads. Weekly active user data for e-CPS was not provided.

Vivinter showed the most volatility in downloads, with a sharp increase in early February to over 5K, then a steep decline to just above 1K by the end of March. No data on weekly active users was available for Vivinter.

Lastly, Mes Assurances from PACIFICA saw its downloads decrease from approximately 2.8K at the start of the quarter to around 1.8K by its close. Weekly active users had minor fluctuations, with a high of over 5.2K in early January and a low of about 4.3K by the quarter's end.
