In the first quarter of 2021, the Brazilian market showed varying trends for iOS book applications. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at how these apps performed in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Ubook: Audiobooks experienced a consistent increase in downloads, peaking at 3.3M in the week of February 22nd before a slight decline to 2.4M by the end of March. Weekly active users saw a high of 8.1K in late February, with a gradual decrease to 7.3K towards the end of the quarter. Revenue trends for Ubook showed a significant spike, reaching $8K in late February, but ended the quarter with a lower $5.3K.

Lera: Best eBooks & Webnovels also observed an increase in downloads, with a notable jump to 2.3M in mid-January. However, it later settled to a lower point of 490K by March end. Active users reached their zenith at 7K in mid-January, with a subsequent drop to 5K by the quarter's end. Revenue for Lera reached a peak of $5.1K in late January but saw a decline to $3.5K by March 29th.

Dreame - Read Best Romance had a remarkable surge in downloads during March, with a staggering 18.2M in the week of March 15th. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, escalating to a high of 22K in the same week. In terms of revenue, Dreame saw an exceptional rise to $15.4K in mid-March, though it ended the quarter at $8.1K.

Amolivro: Audiolivros & Story downloads peaked at 2.6M in mid-January and saw a dip to 722K by the quarter's conclusion. Revenue exhibited a high of $4.6K in late January and a decrease to around $2.7K by the end of March.

Lastly, Storytel: Audiobooks & Ebooks showed a download spike in early March, reaching 6.3M, with a slight reduction to 4.8M by the end of the quarter. Active users for Storytel saw an increase, maintaining above 20K in the latter half of March. Revenue trends for Storytel were relatively stable, with a peak at $2.9K in late February and closing at $1.7K.
