The first quarter of 2021 showed interesting trends for the top auto applications on iOS in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower's data gives us a glimpse into the performance of these apps in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

AutoTrader: Cars to Buy & Sell began the quarter with $92K in revenue and ended with $70K, indicating a slight downward trend. Downloads started at 14.6K and peaked at 14.9K in the week of March 22, before a slight dip to 14.1K. Weekly active users hovered around 130K to 135K, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Shell, while not generating revenue, saw an initial increase in downloads from 5.1K to a peak of 9.2K in late February, followed by a decline to 4K. The app's weekly active users showed a similar pattern, growing from 58K to 67.4K and then dropping to 57.5K by the end of the quarter.

BPme: Pay for Fuel in Your Car also reported no revenue. The app experienced a steady increase in downloads from 2.4K to 4K in mid-February, before declining to 2.5K. Weekly active users peaked at 16.4K in early January and decreased slightly to 14K by the end of March.

Vehicle Smart - Car Check showed a more positive revenue trend, starting at $3.8K and reaching a high of $4.9K in late March. Downloads remained fairly consistent, ranging from 2.7K to 3.2K. Weekly active users were stable, with a slight increase from 10.3K to 11.2K over the quarter.

Lastly, Copart - Online Auto Auctions did not generate revenue but saw its downloads fluctuate, beginning at 2K, peaking at 2.3K in late March, and experiencing dips along the way. Weekly active users started at 4.7K, peaked at 5.3K, and showed an overall increasing trend throughout the quarter.
