Q1 2021 Performance of Top Auto Apps on iOS in Brazil

In the first quarter of 2021, the auto applications market on iOS in Brazil witnessed varied performances across top apps. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a clear picture of how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Copart - Online Auto Auctions maintained a steady trend in downloads, ranging from 284K in the last week of December 2020 to a peak of 382K in late March 2021. Weekly active users showed a slight increase over the quarter, starting at 861K and reaching just over 1M by the end of March.

Car Scanner ELM OBD2 experienced fluctuations in downloads, starting at 240K and peaking at 268K in early February before a sharp decline to just 3K by the end of March. Revenue peaked at 95K USD in late February, with weekly active users reflecting a similar pattern, starting at 199K and decreasing to 66K by the quarter's end.

For EOBD Facile: OBD 2 Car Scanner, download numbers saw a high of 160K in mid-January, followed by a general downward trend to 78K by the end of March. Revenue showed a peak of 56K USD in late January and mid-March, with weekly active users starting at 381K and slightly decreasing to 315K over the quarter.

Infocar - OBD2 ELM Scanner had its highest downloads at 113K in mid-February, with a general trend of growth in weekly active users from 71K at the beginning of the period to a peak of 131K in the same month, before ending at 85K.

Lastly, We Connect Go from Volkswagen showed a consistent trend in weekly active users, starting at 563K and peaking at 590K in early March. Downloads for the app were highest at 85K at the beginning and end of January, with a decrease to 22K by the close of the quarter.
