In the first quarter of 2021, the iOS platform saw varied performance among the top five apparel applications in Australia. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at these trends, with downloads and weekly active users being the focal points due to a consistent lack of reported revenue across the apps.

SHEIN - Shopping Online maintained a strong presence with a steady increase in weekly active users, starting at around 126K in late December and reaching approximately 236K by the end of March. Downloads peaked in the second week of January at nearly 20K, followed by a general decline, stabilizing around 15K downloads per week towards the end of the quarter.

Depop | Buy & Sell Clothing also experienced a rise in active users, from about 98K to over 107K in this period. Downloads reached their highest in the first week of January at close to 8K, with minor fluctuations thereafter, ending the quarter with around 6K downloads.

H&M - we love fashion showed an interesting spike in downloads during the week of February 22nd, with over 10K downloads, more than double the average of previous weeks. Weekly active users saw a gradual increase from approximately 23K to over 32K in late February, followed by a slight decrease to around 28K by the end of March.

ASOS - Discover Fashion Online experienced a decline in downloads, from 6K at the start of the quarter to just above 3K by the end. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, with a peak of around 58K in mid-March.

Lastly, PatPat - Kids & Baby Clothing had its highest downloads in the week of February 22nd, at over 5K, and ended the quarter with similar numbers. The app's weekly active users saw a steady increase from 9K to approximately 18K.

In summary, while no revenue data was reported, the first quarter of 2021 highlighted the dynamic nature of app engagement, with some apps like SHEIN and Depop showing a consistent increase in weekly active users.
