In the first quarter of 2021, the US Android shopping app landscape saw varied performance among the top contenders. Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into the download numbers, revenue, and weekly active users for these leading applications.

OfferUp: Buy. Sell. Letgo. experienced a slight decrease in downloads, starting at 130K in the final week of December 2020 and dipping to 114K by the end of March 2021. Revenue showed a more positive trend, with a notable rise to $146K in the third week of March before a slight drop to $113K. Weekly active users saw a gradual decline from 2M at the end of December to 1.9M by the end of March.

The AlfredCamera Home Security app showed a steady revenue stream, peaking at $22K in late March, while downloads increased from 24K to over 30K in early March, followed by a slight decrease to 29K. Active users peaked at 210K in the second week of March before stabilizing around 205K.

Wyze - Make Your Home Smarter demonstrated interesting trends, with negligible revenue until a sudden spike to $45K in late March. Downloads saw a gradual increase from 21K at the start of February to 29K by the end of March. Weekly active users also increased from 556K in early February to 599K by the end of March.

HotStock - in-stock alerts showed a consistent rise in revenue, reaching $4K by the end of March. Downloads peaked at 7.8K in mid-March, with a small decrease to 4.4K by the end of the month. Active users grew from 16K to 22K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Buy and sell - Marketplace saw its downloads peak at 7.9K in mid-January, followed by a drop to 6.2K by the end of March. Revenue followed a similar pattern, with a peak at $3K in late March. Active users showed growth from 5.4K at the end of December to a high of 8.5K in mid-March before dropping to 7.4K.
