Top 5 Insurance Apps in Latin America: Q1 2021 Android Performance

The first quarter of 2021 has been a dynamic period for insurance applications on Android in Latin America. Sensor Tower's comprehensive analysis provides insights into the performance of the top apps in the sector. Here's how they fared.

My AXA México experienced a fluctuating download trend, kicking off the quarter with approximately 1.4K downloads and peaking at 2K in late January. The downloads dipped to around 1.2K by early March, rounding off the quarter with 1.3K. Weekly active users data for the app was not available.

SightCall's AllianzConnX showed a gradual increase in downloads from the beginning of the year, starting at 211 and surging to 376 in mid-March, before slightly declining to 257 downloads by the end of March. Active users data for AllianzConnX was not provided.

Autoservicio Colombia maintained a relatively stable download pattern, with numbers hovering around the low hundreds throughout the quarter. The app saw a slight peak of 122 downloads mid-March but settled back to 91 by the quarter's close. Weekly active users figures were not disclosed.

HUK Mein Auto from HUK-COBURG Datenservice und Dienstleistungen GmbH had a descending download trajectory, starting from 200 downloads at year's end and ending the quarter with just 28. However, the app maintained a solid base of weekly active users, beginning with 1.34K and slightly decreasing to 1.36K in the last week of March.

Lastly, Jerry: The AllCar™ App by Jerry, Inc. saw modest download numbers, with a noteworthy jump to 105 in mid-March from single digits at the beginning of the year. Weekly active users were recorded in the latter part of March, showing an increase from 76 to 78, before a minor drop to 66.
