As we look at the European dating app market on the Android platform for Q1 2021, Sensor Tower provides us with detailed data on the performance of the top applications in this category. The following is an overview of the performance of the top five dating apps during this period.

Badoo Dating App: Meet & Date showed a slight decrease in revenue over the quarter, starting at around $180K in the last week of December and closing at approximately $156K by the end of March. Downloads for Badoo also saw a decrease from 260K in late December to 232K by the end of March. Weekly active users started at 7.09M and showed an upward trend, reaching 7.65M in the last week of March.

Tinder Dating app. Meet People, a popular choice among dating apps, began the quarter with weekly revenue at $802K, peaking at $859K in early March before ending the quarter at around $796K. Downloads were quite stable, starting at 214K and slightly dipping to 196K towards the end of March. Weekly active users remained robust, starting at 8.05M and growing to 8.35M by quarter-end.

For OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative, revenue started at nearly $53K and saw minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at around $55K. Downloads, however, experienced a more noticeable decline, from 229K at the beginning of the period to 132K by the end. Active users decreased from 596K to 591K in the same timeframe.

Chatruletka – Video Chat saw its revenue begin at $18K and end the quarter near the same level at $16K. Downloads had a slight decrease from 132K to 142K, while weekly active users showed a slight increase from 397K to 447K.

Lastly, Azar - video chat & livestream started with revenue at around $440K, which decreased to $283K by the end of March. Downloads showed a consistent decrease from 145K to 120K, and weekly active users also saw a downward trend from 1.25M to 1.11M.
