France's Top Auto Apps on Android See Varied Performance in Q1 2021

The automotive application space on Android has been bustling with activity in France during the first quarter of 2021. Here we delve into the performance of the top five auto apps, based on data provided by Sensor Tower, offering a glimpse into the trends that shaped the beginning of the year.

Android Auto, published by Google LLC, showed a fluctuating download trend starting at approximately 8K downloads in the final week of December 2020 and dipping to around 4K by the end of March 2021. Despite the download fluctuations, weekly active users increased consistently from 368K to 535K, indicating a growing user base.

Google also offers Android Auto for phone screens, which experienced relatively stable download numbers, hovering around 2K to 4K per week. Weekly active users saw a rise from 443 to 800, suggesting a steady increase in the app's usage.

The MYPEUGEOT APP, without revenue data to report, had downloads ranging from around 1.5K to 1.8K in the observed quarter, paired with weekly active users starting at roughly 35K and ending slightly lower at 34K, indicating stable engagement.

Aramisauto - Voiture occasion, a French publisher's offering, saw its downloads peak at around 1.6K in early February before settling back down to 1.2K by the quarter's close. Unfortunately, the data on weekly active users was not available.

Lastly, AutoScout24: Buy & sell cars from AutoScout24 GmbH, demonstrated a download peak of approximately 1.4K in late February, with downloads then decreasing to under 1K by March end.
