In the first quarter of 2021, the auto application sector on the Android platform saw varied performances across top applications in Brazil. These trends, based on data from Sensor Tower, display how different apps fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Drivvo - car management experienced a steady revenue trend with a slight decrease from $405K in the first week of January to $255K in the last week of March. Downloads peaked at 3.3M in the first week of February but saw a decline to 2.6M by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a high of 18K in late February, with a small drop to 17.5K towards the end of March.

The Car Scanner ELM OBD2 app saw its revenue more than double from $91K in the first week of January to $173K in the last week of March. Downloads began at 2.5M in early January, saw a dip in February to 1.7M, but recovered to 2M by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 4.7K, dipping to 3.6K in early March, and climbing back to 4.3K by the end of the quarter.

For Carista OBD2, revenue saw a significant increase from $95K in the first week of January to $243K in mid-March, before settling at $123K by the end of the month. Downloads showed a decline from 349K in early February to 187K by the end of March. Active users peaked at 259 in mid-March, with a slight decrease to 223 by the end of the quarter.

BimmerCode for BMW and MINI had no reported downloads but revenue peaked at $186K mid-quarter before ending at $95K in the last week of March. Active user data was not available for this application.

Lastly, AGAMA Car Launcher showed an initial revenue of $51K at the start of the quarter, hitting a peak at $68K in late February, and concluded at $36K. Downloads began at 2.1M in late January, decreased to 744K in early March, but slightly recovered to 1.2M by the end of the quarter. The app's weekly active users started at 5K, saw a minimum of 3.9K in early March, and rebounded to 4.7K by the end of March.
