In the first quarter of 2021, the Australian market witnessed varying trends among the top five apparel applications on the Android platform. Sensor Tower's data provides a clear picture of how these apps performed in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

SHEIN-Shopping Online saw its downloads fluctuate, starting at roughly 11K in the last week of December 2020 and peaking at around 12K in mid-January before dipping to approximately 9K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a more positive trend, increasing from 81K to 138K during the quarter.

PatPat - Kids & Baby Clothing experienced a significant boost in downloads, particularly in mid-February when they nearly doubled from 3K to 6K. This momentum was somewhat sustained, with a slight decline to 6K downloads by late March. Active users for PatPat followed a similar upward trajectory, starting at around 8K and reaching over 22K in mid-March, before a slight decrease to approximately 19K.

H&M - we love fashion maintained a steady download rate, hovering between 3K and 5K throughout the quarter. The number of weekly active users saw a gradual increase, starting from 16K and growing to just over 22K by the end of March.

Airy - Women's Fashion showed a decline in downloads from 3K in late December to just over 1K by the end of March. Weekly active users peaked at around 11K in early February but fell to under 10K by the quarter's close.

Vestiaire Collective experienced a mixed pattern in downloads, with an initial increase to 3K in early January, followed by a drop to below 1K by the end of March. The app's active users saw a peak of 6K in early February, which then decreased to around 4K by the end of the quarter.
