Top Music/Rhythm Apps in Latin America: A Q4 2020 Snapshot

The final quarter of 2020 was eventful for the Music/Rhythm category in Latin America, with a mix of steady downloads and active user trends across the leading apps. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a closer look at how these apps fared during this period.

Amanotes Pte. Ltd.'s Tiles Hop: EDM Rush! Music Ball saw a decrease in downloads from 1.1M in late September to 925K by the end of December. However, its weekly active users (WAUs) increased from 4.6M to 6M, and revenue grew from $1.4K to over $2.2K weekly.

Another hit from Amanotes, Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game, experienced a similar pattern with downloads dipping from 589K to 680K, while WAUs saw a moderate rise from 3.6M to 3.8M. The revenue for Magic Tiles 3 peaked at $8.7K in the last week of December.

The third Amanotes app, Dancing Road: Color Ball Run!, showed a more fluctuating download count, starting at 520K and reaching 648K by the year's end. Its WAUs began at 3M and ended the quarter at 3.3M, with revenue increasing to $1.1K.

Drum Pad Machine - Beat Maker, by Easybrain, had a downward trend in downloads, from 282K to 243K, while WAUs showed a slight recovery from just over 1.1M to nearly 1M. Revenue figures saw a small decrease, ending at $2.5K in the last week of December.

Badsnowball Limited's Smash Colors 3D 2023 started with 310K downloads and increased significantly to 280K in the final week of the year. The WAUs rose impressively from 453K to 661K, despite the app not generating significant revenue.
