In the final quarter of 2020, Brazil's music and rhythm app category saw a mix of ups and downs. Here's a snapshot of how the top 5 apps fared, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Tiles Hop EDM Rush Music Ball by Amanotes Pte. Ltd. experienced a steady increase in revenue, starting at $456K in late September and reaching $700K by the end of December. Downloads peaked at 544K in late October, then gradually decreased to 305K by year's end. Weekly active users showed a growing trend, climbing from 1.93M to 2.61M over the quarter.

Magic Tiles 3: Piano Game, also from Amanotes Pte. Ltd., saw its revenue grow from $2.69M to $3.59M through the quarter. Download numbers were highest at the start of October with 255K, dropping to 277K by December's close. The app's weekly active users decreased in early October from 1.77M to 1.48M, then rebounded to 1.76M by the end of December.

For Dancing Road: Color Ball Run!, revenue rose from $180K to $304K during Q4. Downloads saw a high of 283K in mid-November and a low of 156K in mid-December. The app's weekly active users experienced a dip in mid-November to 1.26M but recovered to 1.24M by the end of the quarter.

Drum Pad Machine - Beat Maker by Easybrain showed a revenue decline from $1.10M to $849K. Downloads demonstrated a slight decrease throughout the quarter, starting at 145K and ending at 134K. The app's weekly active users presented a downward trend from 569K to 552K in the same period.

Lastly, Smash Colors 3D 2023 by Badsnowball Limited, which had no recorded revenue for the first few weeks of Q4, noted a nominal increase from $2 to $4 by the quarter's end. Downloads decreased from 169K to 97K, while weekly active users saw an increase from 254K in late September to 221K by the end of December.
