Brazil's Top 5 Lifestyle Apps Show Varied Performance in Q4 2020

In the fourth quarter of 2020, Brazil's Lifestyle category saw interesting trends among its top applications on the unified platform, as per data provided by Sensor Tower. Here's a look at how the top five apps performed during this period.

Tinder: Dating, Chat & Friends experienced a slight decline in weekly active users from 6.8 million to 6.5 million. Downloads started strong at 158 thousand in late September but saw a drop, ending the quarter at 176 thousand. Revenue also had its ups and downs, peaking at 257 thousand in mid-November.

happn — Dating app showed an increase in downloads from 34 thousand to 47 thousand by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users, however, declined from 1.4 million to 1.3 million. Revenue trends were relatively stable, moving around the mid-40 thousand mark, with a peak at 55 thousand in mid-November.

Dating App - Inner Circle saw a moderate increase in revenue from 23 thousand to 32 thousand towards the end of December. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 16 thousand and ending at 15 thousand. Weekly active users showed a gradual increase from 110 thousand to 128 thousand.

Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends had a decline in weekly active users from 4.5 million to 4.2 million. Downloads saw a decrease from 163 thousand to 149 thousand. Revenue remained relatively stable, with minor fluctuations around the 21 thousand mark.

Lastly, Xprofile - profile analysis witnessed a decline in both weekly active users, from 76 thousand to 74 thousand, and in revenue, starting the quarter at 12 thousand and ending at 8 thousand. Downloads peaked at 17 thousand in early October but dropped to around 11 thousand by the end of December.
