France's Top 5 Insurance Apps in Q4 2020: A Sensor Tower Analysis

In the fourth quarter of 2020, France's insurance app sector demonstrated varied user engagement across the top five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's how each app fared on the unified platform.

Harmonie & moi experienced a fluctuating trend with downloads peaking at 10K in late October, but ending the quarter with approximately 8K downloads. Weekly active users showed a more stable pattern, starting at 34K and reaching a high of 39K in late November, before closing the quarter at around 37K.

MACIF saw a decline in downloads from 7K to 6K at the beginning of the quarter, with a slight rebound to 7K by the end of December. Weekly active users remained relatively consistent, hovering around 35K throughout the quarter.

Mon Allianz mobile showcased an initial increase in downloads from 5K to 5.7K in early October, followed by a dip and a strong finish at 7K downloads by year's end. The app's weekly active users grew from approximately 12K to 13K over the quarter.

MAAF et Moi - Assurance MAAF downloads varied, with an early quarter high of nearly 6K, a mid-quarter low of 3.5K, and a recovery to over 6K in the final week of December. The app's active users saw a similar trajectory, starting at 11K, dipping to 9.6K, and rebounding to 12.6K.

Finally, Mes Assurances experienced a downward trend in downloads from 6K to 5K, and weekly active users declined from 10K to 8.5K by the end of Q4.
