Performance of Top Dating Apps in Latin America Q4 2020

In the final quarter of 2020, Latin America's dating app scene saw varied performances among top players, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a snapshot of how these apps fared.

Tinder Dating app. Meet People remained a strong contender, with revenue fluctuating around the $400K mark weekly, peaking at nearly $450K in mid-November. Downloads for Tinder showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, reaching over 400K, while weekly active users hovered around 12.5M throughout.

Badoo Dating App: Meet & Date saw revenues in the tens of thousands, with a slight increase towards the end of December, topping at around $57K. Downloads began at nearly 300K but saw a decrease to roughly 250K by the end of December. Weekly active users started at 8.2M, with a slight decline to just over 7.7M.

Ablo - Nice to meet you! had modest revenues, starting at just over $1K and ending at approximately $2.3K. Downloads showed a healthy increase, particularly in December, reaching over 130K. Active users grew from around 469K to over 530K, indicating a strong user retention and engagement.

OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative experienced a revenue climb from $2K to nearly $4K by the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a peak in mid-October at over 90K but slightly declined to 75K in December. Weekly active users increased from 199K to over 323K, showing a steady growth in the user base.

Mequeres - Dating. Flirt. Chat had no reported revenue but downloads started strong at 116K before seeing a drop to 44K. Weekly active users reflected a similar trend, peaking at 182K in early October and then declining to around 87K by year-end.
