Q4 2020 Performance of Top Auto Apps in the UK

As the year 2020 wrapped up, the auto application sector saw varied performances across leading apps in the United Kingdom. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

AutoTrader: Cars to Buy & Sell, an app by Auto Trader from the UK, observed fluctuating download numbers, starting at 31K in the final week of September and dipping to approximately 20K by the end of November, before rebounding to 23K at the end of December. The app's revenue peaked in mid-December at $126K, with weekly active users starting at 274K and ending the quarter at around 253K.

Shell, despite having no reported revenue, maintained a steady presence with downloads beginning at 13K and reaching over 11K by year's end. Weekly active users for Shell saw a slight decline from 127K to around 128K over the quarter.

Testi Driving Cancellations UK had a notable revenue trend, starting strong at $15K and peaking in mid-December at $38K, before falling to $11K. Downloads for this app saw significant spikes, especially in October, reaching over 7K, and weekly active users increased from 17K to a peak of 27K before closing the quarter at 23K.

Vehicle Smart - Car Check showed a consistent revenue pattern, starting at $7K and ending at nearly $6K. Downloads were stable, hovering around 4K throughout the quarter, and weekly active users ranged from 14K to 14K.
