Q4 2020 Performance of Top iOS Utilities Apps in France

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the Utilities category on the iOS platform saw significant user engagement in France. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the performance of the leading applications in this segment.

Google Chrome maintained a steady increase in downloads starting from 33K in the last week of September to a peak of nearly 64K in the third week of December. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly but ended the quarter with a slight decrease from 1.71M to 1.77M.

Google also showed a consistent growth in downloads, with the numbers rising from 30K to 65K over the quarter. Active users saw a small dip initially but generally remained stable, closing the quarter with a marginal increase from 1.59M to 1.60M.

LBC France's Leboncoin experienced a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at 46K in the third week of December, up from 31K at the beginning of the quarter. Its weekly active users showed a significant rise in the last week of December, reaching 1.35M from an initial 1.27M.

IdeaSolutions' Amerigo File Manager showed growth in both revenue and downloads. Revenue figures for the app increased from $2.9K to $3.9K in the first month, then fluctuated and ended at around $3K by year-end. Downloads saw a significant jump from 27K to 57K during the penultimate week of December.

Lastly, Caf - Mon Compte by Caisse Nationale des Allocations Familiales saw its downloads move from 29K to 25K by the end of the quarter. Active users experienced some volatility, with a low in mid-October at 337K and a spike to 440K in the last week of November.

The data from Sensor Tower underlines the engaging performance of these top utility apps on the iOS platform in France during Q4 2020. While revenue data was not applicable for some apps, the download and active user trends provide a clear picture of the category's health and user interest in this period.
