iOS Utilities Apps in Brazil: Q4 2020 Trends

The last quarter of 2020 saw notable trends among the top utilities applications on the iOS platform in Brazil. Insights provided by Sensor Tower indicate how these apps fared in terms of downloads and active users.

e-Título experienced a significant spike in downloads, peaking at roughly 275K in early November, followed by a gradual decline to 8.5K by the end of December. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, skyrocketing to over 1.6M in the same early November week before settling at around 71K.

Google maintained a relatively stable download count throughout the quarter, ranging from 57K to 80K, with the latter being the peak in mid-December. Active users showed a slight decrease from 1.1M at the start of the quarter to just over 1.1M by its close.

Google Chrome saw a consistent level of downloads, with numbers fluctuating slightly around the 55K mark, and a noticeable increase to 65K towards the end of November. The active user base remained strong, hovering around 2.7M throughout the quarter.

Carteira Digital de Trânsito downloads varied, with a noteworthy dip to 47K in late November from a starting point of 65K in late September. Active users showed an increase from 366K to 400K in early November, before gradually decreasing to 380K at the end of the quarter.

Lastly, Sticker.ly - Sticker Maker downloads were highest in mid-October at over 50K, with a decline to 30K by the year's end. The app's active users reached a peak of 881K in the third week of October, before a downward trend to 663K by the end of December.
