Q4 2020 Performance of Top Shopping Apps on iOS in Latin America

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the shopping category on the iOS platform saw some interesting trends among the top applications in Latin America. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a closer look at the performance of these apps.

Alfred Home Security Camera experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting the quarter with 1.3M and peaking at 1.7M by the end of December. The app's weekly active users showed a similar upward trend, growing from 8K to 8.6K. Revenue also saw a rise, culminating in 747K in the last week of December.

The Buy and sell - Marketplace app showed more fluctuation. Downloads dipped to 1.2M in early October but recovered to 2.4M in November, later settling at 1.9M. Weekly active users peaked at 13K in the third week of December. Revenue had its highs and lows, with a notable spike to 800K in early November and a substantial increase to 608K by the year's end.

WallaPop - Compra y vende downloads remained relatively stable, hovering around 1K throughout the quarter, with a slight increase in December. Active users started at 17K and had a minor decrease to 16K over the period. Revenue trends fluctuated, ending the quarter at 49K.

For Misfit, downloads saw a notable increase, jumping from 19 to 91 in the third week of December before dropping to 72. The app's weekly active users were consistent, with a slight peak at 250 in late December. Revenue showed a gradual increase, reaching 23K in the final week of 2020.

Lastly, GUCCI had an interesting quarter with no revenue reported until November. Downloads saw a significant jump from 395 to 1K in early November and maintained above 350 for the remainder of the quarter. Active users showed an increasing trend from 6.4K to 6.7K.
