In the fourth quarter of 2020, the Lifestyle category on the iOS platform in Latin America showcased notable performances from leading applications. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the trends of downloads and weekly active users for these popular apps.

Pinterest, the well-known visual discovery engine, had a consistent download trend, starting at 159K in the last week of September and dipping slightly to around 137K in early November before rebounding to 154K in mid-December. While the app's revenue data is not applicable, Pinterest's weekly active users saw a growth from 15.6M to 16.7M, indicating a steady increase in engagement over the quarter.

Tinder: Chat, Dating & Friends experienced a fluctuating revenue pattern, with peaks of $267K in mid-October and $263K in late December. Downloads for the popular dating app maintained a range between 61K and 76K, while the weekly active users hovered around the 2.3M mark, with slight week-to-week variations.

Amazon Alexa, despite not generating revenue, saw a significant spike in downloads from 14K to 69K in the week leading up to Christmas, while its weekly active users increased from 273K to 413K in the same period. This growth suggests a rise in the use of smart home devices that are compatible with the Alexa app.

Google Home also followed a similar trajectory with no revenue reported. However, downloads showed an upward trend, particularly towards the end of the year, jumping from 24K to over 42K in the week before Christmas. The app’s weekly active users rose modestly from 193K to 220K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, FitPro demonstrated a noteworthy increase in both downloads and active users. Starting at 24K downloads at the end of September, it peaked at 52K in the week before Christmas. Weekly active users for FitPro showed a robust growth, ascending from 143K to over 254K by the end of December.
