As 2020 came to a close, the French iOS Lifestyle app market saw varying levels of user engagement across top applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, here's how the leading apps fared in the fourth quarter.

Pinterest showed consistency in weekly active users (WAUs), starting at 3.94M and peaking at 4.47M in November, before ending the quarter with 4.55M. Downloads for Pinterest began at 46K and saw a significant spike to 74K in the week before Christmas, closing the year with 64K downloads.

Google Home experienced a gradual increase in WAUs from 228K to 324K by the year's end. The app's downloads also surged, particularly in December, jumping from 17K to a high of 71K in the week leading up to Christmas, and then slightly declining to 45K.

Tinder: Chat, Dating & Friends saw its revenue fluctuate throughout the quarter, with a noteworthy rise to $309K during the week of December 21. The app's WAUs ranged from 800K at the start of the quarter to 787K by the end, showing a dip in November before recovering in December. Downloads were quite stable, hovering around 18K to 23K each week.

Fruitz: Match, Chat & Dating showed an interesting revenue trend with a peak of $33K in early December, followed by a slight decrease to close at $27K. The app's downloads saw highs and lows, with a notable jump to 19K in early December before ending at 13K. WAUs remained fairly stable around the 270K to 281K range.

Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends also saw its revenue peak in the pre-Christmas week at $105K, with other weeks averaging around $90K. The app's WAUs saw a slight increase from 273K to 271K over the quarter, while downloads remained consistent, ranging from 8K to 9K each week.
