The French insurance market saw varying trends in app performance throughout the fourth quarter of 2020. Sensor Tower provides insights into the downloads and user engagement for the top five iOS insurance applications in France during this period.

Starting with Harmonie & moi, the app experienced a peak in downloads in late October with approximately 4.3K, followed by a downward trend to around 2.5K by the end of December. Weekly active users showed more stability, starting at around 17K and reaching up to 20K in late October, before stabilizing around 18K towards the end of the quarter.

MACIF had its highest downloads in the first week of the quarter with nearly 4K, and despite some fluctuations, it ended the quarter with a rise to around 3.6K. The weekly active users for MACIF started at approximately 19K, dipped to around 17K in November, and rebounded to close to 19K by year-end.

Ma Matmut showed an initial download count of around 2.2K and saw a significant increase to over 3.6K in mid-December. The weekly active users for Ma Matmut began at roughly 15K, dipped slightly in mid-quarter, and then rose to peak at around 18K in mid-December, before dropping off to about 14K by the end of December.

Mon Allianz mobile downloads were around 2.2K at the start of the quarter and saw a notable peak of over 3K in early December. The app's weekly active users saw a slight decrease from approximately 5.4K to 4.6K throughout the quarter.

Lastly, MAAF et Moi - Assurance MAAF opened the quarter with downloads at about 2.3K, dipping to around 1.6K in late October, and then surging to approximately 3.4K by the end of December. The app's weekly active users began at over 4.7K, slightly decreased in November, and then rose to nearly 6K by the end of the quarter.
