As the year 2020 drew to a close, the UK's apparel app market on iOS witnessed varying trends in user engagement and downloads. Here's a snapshot of how the top five apps performed, as tracked by Sensor Tower.
JD Sports saw a notable spike in downloads, peaking at 77K in mid-November, while weekly active users reached a high of 218K in the same period. Despite no reported revenue, the app maintained a strong user base with 191K active users in the final week of December.
SHEIN - Shopping Online also experienced increased activity with downloads reaching nearly 50K in late November. The app's weekly active users soared to 931K in the same month, marking the highest user engagement among the top apps.

Depop | Buy & Sell Clothing witnessed its downloads hover around the 25K mark for most of the quarter, with a slight increase to 26K in the final week of December. The app's active users showed a consistent pattern, culminating at 604K by year's end.
