As the year 2020 concluded, the shopping app landscape saw varied performances across the top apps in the United Kingdom on the Android platform. Sensor Tower provides detailed insights into the downloads, revenue, and active user trends for these leading applications.

Shpock: Buy & Sell Marketplace saw its downloads decline from 24K in the last week of September to 21K in the first week of November, before dropping further to 13K in the third week of December. However, there was a spike to 21K downloads in the final week of the year. Weekly active users peaked at 171K in early October and then followed a decreasing trend, finishing at 144K in the last week of December.

AlfredCamera Home Security app, despite its modest numbers, showed an increase in revenue from $626 in the last week of September to over $1K in the penultimate week of December. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging between 600 and 900 weekly, with a slight peak at 911 in the third week of December. Active users saw a gentle rise from 6K to around 7K over the quarter.

For Wallapop - Sell & Buy, revenue figures hovered around the $200-$300 mark throughout the quarter, while downloads saw a decrease from 566 in late September to 452 in the final week of December. The app's weekly active users showed fluctuations but ended the quarter slightly higher at 8K.

The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, with an impressive increase from 137 to over 30K in mid-December, before a decline to 13K at the year's end.

Lastly, Buy and sell - Marketplace showed modest revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at $295 in the third week of December. Downloads remained relatively consistent, with a noticeable increase to 739 in the final week. Active users began at 523 in late September and ended the quarter slightly higher at 574.
