Q4 2020 Performance of Top Android MOBA Apps in France

In the fourth quarter of 2020, the MOBA category on Android saw significant activity in France. Sensor Tower data provides a glimpse into how five of the top applications in this genre performed during this period.

League of Legends: Wild Rift, despite being a new entrant, showed a meteoric rise in downloads, peaking at 272K in the week of December 7th, and maintained a strong presence with 38K downloads in the last week of December. The weekly active users followed a similar trajectory, skyrocketing to 177K active users in mid-December before settling at 104K by month's end.

Supercell's Brawl Stars continued its strong performance, with revenues reaching up to 186K USD in late October and sustaining above 99K USD in weekly revenue throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a peak at 51K in the week before Christmas, while weekly active users showed a healthy increase, rising to over 1.1M in the same period.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang maintained consistent revenues, with a high point of 43K USD in early November. Downloads remained steady, with a slight decrease to 3.4K by the end of December. The weekly active users count showed a peak at 85K in late November, although it decreased to 56K by the end of December.

Kabam's MARVEL Realm of Champions had a modest start in terms of revenue, with an increase to 2.1K USD in the week of December 21st. The game's downloads surged to 17K in the week it debuted in the data, maintaining over 10K downloads in the final weeks of December. Weekly active users were recorded at 12.8K in the last week of December.

Lastly, Heroes Strike - Modern Moba & saw its revenue peak at 125 USD in early December and downloads hit 1.1K in mid-December. Weekly active users reflected a positive trend, reaching over 1K by the end of the quarter.
