Utilizing data from Sensor Tower, we've taken a closer look at the performance of the top five MOBA applications on the Android platform in the fourth quarter of 2020.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, published by Moonton, saw a decrease in downloads from 809K in the last week of September to 101K at the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from 1.8M to 1.4M over the same period. However, revenue peaked in the week of December 21 with $78K, an increase from $42K at the beginning of the quarter.
Supercell's Brawl Stars experienced a more stable quarter. Downloads saw a slight upswing from 146K to 180K, and weekly active users grew significantly from 2.3M to 2.8M. The revenue also spiked impressively during the holidays, jumping from $74K to $158K in the final week of December.
